Sylvan Lake Beachfront

Residents of the Chelsea Cove properties are able to enjoy our private beach on beautiful Sylvan Lake. Did you know that Sylvan Lake is the deepest and second largest lake in Dutchess County?

The private beach club is now closed for the winter and will re-open in June 2022.  A valid pass is required for entry into the area.  Owners must be in good standing to receive passes and will receive two per household.  Each pass will allow you to bring 5 people to the private beach club area.  The last day for the 2022 beach season will be September 5, 2022.

Passes will be checked by a beach attendant to ensure that only residents and their guests enter.  Owners are responsible for the actions of their tenants and guests while at the private beach.

You must keep your passes as they will be re-used each year.  There will be a $50 charge per pass to replace them if necessary.  If you sell your house, you must give the beach passes to the new owner at closing or give them a $100.00 credit to purchase new ones.

NATURE PATH

The upper trail has been cleared and wood chips put down so that residents can enjoy a walk through our woods.  If you bring your dog along with you please be sure to pick up after it.

INFORMATION FOR BOATS

Residents are permitted to store small row boats, canoes or kayaks on the wooded shoreline adjacent to the sand beach provided they are registered with the Association and display the required permit decal.

Please submit a boat registration form to the management company to obtain a permit.
